Bitter

I'm not sure what makes me this way, but today I am bitter. Well maybe I am a little in the know of why I have chosen to be bitter and grumpy today... I feel underappreciated, I feel unimportant, I feel selfish, I feel lost. But that is just today, and I can either A) keep on dwelling on my anger and bitterness, or B) make a choice to just stop it and shut up and be thankful for what I do have and where I am. So maybe I am a little important where I am the "house-wife" and stay-at-home-mom.. I guess I just get a little tired sometimes. And somedays I just want someone else to do laundry, somebody else clean the floors, make the meals, change shitty diapers, read books, scrub toilets, calm fears and dry tears. I think I'll try to focus on choice B and also draw a much needed bubble bath.

Our home is coming right along. My sweet and talented father has been devoted to dry-walling and crack-filling our home, giving up his days off of work to get to our home and help it get completed. I am not quite sure how we could have pulled of this renovation without the help and outstanding support we've been given! I'm pretty sure we wouldn't be able to do it, and would be stuck here renting for awhile. But alas, we have one more rent payment and then will be home owners come June 30! Fabulous :)

Z only has a couple more weeks of preschool. We went to a kindergarten orientation last Wednesday. I think it will be a good school for us. It is so close too. So it all works. He's ready for it. This year was a great prep though. His teacher was outstanding this year and really made efforts to accomodate his needs and his eagerness to learn.

Mike is working pretty decent shifts lately. Never working any later than 6:30, which is great. When he's not working, he is at the house. Tomorrow he will be tilling up our backyard and planting seed to get a decent lawn started. Thankfully the weather won't be +31 like it was the last day he was working in the yard.

I'm off to drown my grumpy attitude & bitterness & complaints in a candle-lit bath... at 11 in the morning... while Noey is still quietly sleeping.

We ALL have those (hormonal) days! We still need to do something sometime soon.
